 The outcome of the election in Iraq is finished. We had to wait a long time till the responsible people had counted out all districts. The party "Rafidain" got three seats in the new parliament, the "Chaldean Syriac Assyrian Popular Council" got two seats. The Christians got five seats. Please look to the list, there you can see who got how many seats for the parliament.

 Die Evangelisch Lutherische Kirche in Bayern hilft Flüchtlingen aus Mosul. Durch verschiedene Angriffe auf Christen mit tödlichem Ausgang wuchs die Angst der Christen in Mosul erneut. Hunderte Familien flohen in die benachbarte Nineveh Ebene. Dort werden sie u.a. von "Christian Aid" unterstützt, die wiederum von der Bayrischen Landeskirche finanziell unterstützt wird.
